I asked Lucky to show me his favorite tattoo machine. Without hesitation, he reached with his right hand and picked up this one. He told me that it’s old, and at some point, has been used on practically all of his clients. I took a moment and thought about all of the tattoos this machine had created and the thousands of conversation it was responsible for starting…then I took a photograph.
